Foster families. Purpose:
|
- To
help the abandoned children from the orphanages
and hospitals;
- To help the foster families
giving them work (to pay for their work and in future
we plan to employ the good foster families); and
not only this, but to give the possibility to the
loving people to help abandoned children; to help
our society.
- To help the orphanages
and Children’s hospital, taking the children from
the bad conditions, cold, humidity, isolated place,
putting them in a warm and with good conditions
place, in a family.
Objectives
& Methodology:

To
take 30 abandoned children between the age 3-10
and to put them in families from the village, where
to grow and be educated till 18 years old. They
will learn the life in the village, the work in
a house, agriculture etc. so, when they will be
18 and left alone, to be able to live in the society
and to not be afraid of / to work.
The girls will learn
to wash, to clean, to cook, to make cakes to lead
a house, as any girl from a village is thought.
The boys will learn to work in a farm, with the
animals, to work the land (agriculture) so when
they will be 18, can live a responsible life and
lead a family, (like any) a Romanian family.
In Livada de Bihor
there is a kindergarden with two groups of children
(3-5 and 5-7 years old) where the little children
will be integrated. The children over 6-7 will attend
the Elementary (Primary and Secondary) School till
14 years old (classes I-VIII).
After that, they will
continue to study in the city of Oradea (13 km from
Livada de Bihor), everyone choosing for himself
the dominion of study which will like and have capacity
/ ability. The children will be supervised in all
these years and helped to orientate themselves to
the dominion which is the most perfect for them
/ for everyone of them.
After the class of
VIII, will be done an evaluation and everyone will
continue to study or work in accordance with the
results will get. For this reason, they have to
be prepared very well so that they can go to any
school from Oradea city, and be integrated there.
So, they will be prepared at the most high possible
level, and depending/ in accordance with the capacity
of everyone, even though they will need/ have supplementary
preparations, besides the normal preparation at
the School from the village.
Besides that, they
will have courses (to learn foreign languages: English,
German, French) at the Community Club. So that,
after the school, if they will be able and will
want, they can go to the university, maybe abroad
and maybe to work abroad. In intelligence to be
developed. The club will be disponible for them!
Also, through the
computer club, trips and summer camp organized by
the Association, they will have the possibility
to become friends with the children from Livada
de Bihor and also, from other places, so they can
be integrated easier in the society they society
they need and later will be thought and helped to
integrate themselves in the society like any other
child which belongs from a normal family.
All these children
will be integrated in the local Pentecostal church,
taking part? At the Sunday School (in the church
and in the community club too) where they will learn
to live a moral life, and a life by faith in GOD,
a disciplinated life, equilibrated, with Biblical
principles as base for their life, and Christian
convictions well based which will lead them in future
in the life. Learning to depend on GOD after beginning
a personal relationship with GOD, they will be leaded,
helped and guided by God more than any parent. The
Association, the school, the church and the foster
family will be only / just an instrument / way in
guiding and growing them, because in fact, they
will depend on God who never leaves them alone.
GOD will be
the safe of their life, when they will have to live
by themselves in the life, when they will have to
live by themselves in the life (when they will have
to live a responsible life).
The foster families
will be stimulated to grow this children with E
100 per month for one child (from the income of
the programs of the project of Computer club) and
later, one other million lei per month for taxes
for the employed “mothers” (these money from the
income of our business). The government gives 500.000
lei (per month for every child) for foster program
and 160.000 lei (now) for every child (this is for
every child till 6-7 years old and that only if
the child attend a school) until 18 years old.
(Note:
from 6 years old the child can go to a normal school,
but if she/he is in the kindergarden is paid till
7 years old when has to start the school, or if
she/he has problem (see children in difficulty),
the child can remain in the kindergarden till 8
years old and then has to start the school. After
8-9 years old, he cannot begin the normal school.
The law is that after 2 years over the normal age
of beginning the school, but you can start the school
at 6 or at 7 years old, depending on when the parent
wants or considers that his child can start the
school. So, the 2 years over the normal age of starting
the school can be 8 but also, might be accepted
at 9 years old too.
The children
from the foster program will get material help from
the association, like: cloths, shoes, notebooks
and other things foe school, bicycles, etc. they
will have free access to the computer club (depending
on the program of the club), free courses (foreign
languages, musical courses), trips, summer camp,
sport / fitness club, etc.
The foster mothers
will be prepared to grow these children, will be
supervised, encouraged and helped through consiliation
any time when they will need.
HOW
will we choose the children?

firstly we will take from orphanages,
- only the abandoned
children (it means that the child will have the
signature from the mother that she and the family
abandons the child,
- girls and boys,
- not physical retarded
if possible,
- from the family
home of a child will require special attention,
- also, from the foster
program a child might go in the family home in case
that a family renounces / stops / cannot keep the
child or is a bad family, that child can come in
the family home or in one other foster family.
After 18 years old,
the children have 2 possibilities:
1. to continue to study,
and the association will support them till they
finish to study, or maybe they can work also, in
that time (of the university, here is very usual);
or maybe they can work at the association
2. to work; we will help
them to choose and to get a job; or maybe, they
can work at the association in a project (club,
farm or summer camp) or abroad
Note:
The foster families will be paid for their work
and they will not have any other facilities. So,
they will not get cloths, free access to the club,
because if we will give all these facilities to
them, then there is the possibility that many other
families to want to take children in fostering,
but only for the benefits. In this way, we want
to select the good and loving families without any
other interest. But the money they need, as it is
the minimum requirement to live in Romania. (I have
the experience from my job FSF: many families hearing
about us, uses to come with the purpose to take
a child for fostering, but because we do not give
them any money, they said that cannot take a child,
because even though they want, they cannot grow
a child only with the money from the state (500+160.000
lei). Also, the foster families we have now, there
are some families which complain already that it
is very will bring them back to us and we do not
have any place or other families where to bring
them, maybe the hospital again or the orphanage?).
Educational work plan
for the children, from the Family Home and for the
children in foster families
There will be 10 children, who will grow in the
Family Home and we intend to give 30 children in
foster families, to the families from Livada.
All
these children will attend the State Kindergarten
from Livada village, this kindergarten being divided
into two groups of children: the small group – between
3-5 years old and the preparatory group, between
5-6 which prepares children for going to school.
After
that all these children will attend the Elementary
School (I-IV) in Livada, where if it’s necessary
they will take also private hours to use at their
maximum intellectual capacities. Because at this
age (between 6-10 years), the child is the most
responsive, now is the time when he can learn and
form any ability (e.g.: sport, foreign language,
music, arts, manual training class, etc) we will
make all the possible to give them the opportunity
to learn what they want.
For
the gymnasium (V-VIII class) we will choose for
these children the best variant of studying. If
they are very good, and the intellectual rivalry
won’t be so big at Livada school or if they have
certain abilities, which requires a special school
(of profile we will bring them into a city school
(Oradea), adequate to their needs.
Like this they would
be able to develop the discovered abilities and
also began in the Elementary School, whatever will
be these schools with a profile, specific to their
needs, abilities, inclinations and expectations.
They will be encouraged
guided and controlled doesn’t matter what school
they will attend.
After
this stage it follows that one of choosing a job.
After the children will be helped to choose a job,
they will attend either a High school or a vocational
school according to the job chosen by them.
Although we
were dreaming that all of them would become intelligent,
capable, efficient people accomplishing big things
in life however this depends only in part of us.
That is why a vocational school and a famous High
school.
It they couldn’t do
more than a vocational school or wouldn’t want more
than this, their decision will be respected.
Now child will be
obliged to do anything against his decision. Those
ones who will finish a vocational school learning
to practice a job could be encouraged to continue
the studies (high school) in another way, like attending
and evening school.
This because in Romania,
in this moment gives the situation that the medium
level of school preparedness is high school. Those
ones who attend less than this, don’t have chances
to headway in life and although they aren’t inferior,
they will still remain simple workers.
If our children choose
this variant after the graduation of school and
reach 18 years, will be helped and encouraged to
manage by themselves in life.
Those
who would want to attend a University after the
graduation of high school, they can’t manage by
themselves during studies in life student, will
continue to be helped in some way, but there will
be settled some standards.
E.g.: a scholarship or to work part time beside
University, etc.
Doesn’t matter what
University will attend these children after High
school, they will have to understand that for any
life success, you have to work hard and nothing,
none help is free.
Only like that they
will be able to develop a healthy character sans
of work and they will have a personal fulfillment.
During
the time they will be under our care, both children
from the Family Home and those ones in foster families
will benefit by medical protection.
The children in the
foster families won’t be close controlled, but rather
the foster families will be educated, prepared,
counseled so that they will take will take care
of these children in a proper way.
The main control and
control and the protection of these children, will
still be in the charge of the Association, but more
as a guide, and not forcing things.
All the children under
the protection of the Association will be taught
to work, because work is first of all the main factor
which brings fulfillment and personal content.
In the same time it
prepares the it prepares the human being to manage
in the most difficult life situations and helps
him to create its own conditions of living.
Precisely for being an example for children also
we an Association, we want to get on the point to
manage ourselves. I am convinced that through this
modality, any child would be able to develop the
wish of independence and self-support.
The medical assistance
will be assured to all the children from our project,
all these children being registrated to the family
doctor from Livada village and employing a medical
assistant too, for the Association. Our medical
assistant will supervise and will be responsible
for the children mentioned.
The integration in
the society of all children in the projects of the
Association will be made in different ways.
The children from
Livada in foster families will be taught how to
live in a family where they will be accepted and
loved, without going through the feeling that is
not their natural family.
For the accomplishing
of this goal, the foster families (the maternal
assistants) will be guided, counseled, to behave
in a proper way with these children.
The children from
the Family Home will be treated the same with the
exception that they will grow in a bigger family
(larger family).
The next step for
the integration of these children in the society
will be the Educational institutions

Educational activities

If
all these would not be enough, we will found a computer
club, where the children will have the possibility
to get friends with the children from the village,
in a more free way. Playing together on the computer
games or internet, and sharing one to each other
personal experiences and discoverers, they will
be more attached one to another.
Also like this, as
part of the club there will be done different deeds
of handicraft, sport, educational activities (e.g.
a computer course, courses of foreign languages,
camps, where there will be invited also the children
from the village and their relationships the children
from the village and their relationship will develop
more).
Religious
talking, the children will be integrated in the
local Church where, as part of the Sunday school
they will receive a proper religious education,
adequate to the Word of God written in the Bible.
Our children will learn the doctrines of the Bible
and they will learn to now Lord Jesus Christ they
will live a life of overcoming, a pure life, and
they will have character of Jesus.
Only teaching our
children to live this way, we shall have victory
in this ministry through which we answered to Hiss
call.
Another
important area for the developing of the children
character, the sense of responsibility, of fulfillment
and self content and of integration in a simple
way, in society is physical work.
All the children included
in the projects of the Association will be taught
to work physical at the animals Farm, greenhouse
and agriculture which we will found with the purpose
of self supporting (self financing) the Association
or as part of the families where they will live.
Through
all these ways, the children we take care of (40
children totally) will be taught to become people
of trust for our country (Romania), so that also
they at their turn to be able to help other great
people: people of science who will help in this
way other people, responsible leaders, who will
have the courage to settle the things – the problem
of our country.
